Swapnil (Neil) Jadhav is Head of Business Intelligence & Analytics for the City of Carlsbad. Carlsbad is an affluent seaside resort city in Southern California that won Google’s eCity Award in 2013. Before joining the city, Neil worked with many private sector companies, including Adobe Systems, BP (formerly British Petroleum), Cadbury Australia, Fujitsu, and Beachbody.

Neil has a proven track record as a key member of many executive teams, providing them with insights and strategic vision. His technical expertise includes big data and statistical analysis, database management, data mining, data architecture, and data warehouse design. Neil has provided technical and organizational leadership for large consulting firms, dynamic startup organizations, Fortune 500 companies, and government organizations. His experience spans a wide variety of industries, such as Oil & Gas, Hi-Tech, Health & Fitness, FMCG, and state & local government.
